Zinc Zirconium Silicate 99%+ Purity Lab Grade

Zinc zirconium silicate (Zn₂ZrSiO₇) is a 99%+ purity lab grade ceramic opacifier. It produces a clean opaque white with strong covering power and does not yellow with UV exposure, and it stays stable past 1300 °C, so it survives single-fire schedules for porcelain, stoneware and sanitaryware without decomposing.

The fine particle size disperses easily in glazes, engobes and bodies. It is used in tableware and studio pottery glazes, wall and floor tile, technical ceramics, and in frits and enamel coatings. The material is lead-free and cadmium-free.
