Sulfuric Acid H2SO4 95-98% Concentrated Lab Grade

Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) at 95-98% concentration, laboratory grade, in a 950 ml bottle. It is a dense, colorless, oily liquid, strongly hygroscopic, and a powerful dehydrating agent as well as a strong acid.

It is used for acid digestion and sample preparation, titration and general reagent work, electrolyte preparation for lead-acid cells and electrochemistry, pickling and surface cleaning of metals, and drying of gases. Dilution is strongly exothermic and the concentrated acid chars organic material on contact, so it requires acid-resistant containment and full protective equipment.
