950ml Hydrogen Peroxide (50%)

Hydrogen peroxide supplied at 50 percent concentration, reagent grade, in a 950 ml bottle. This is a higher-strength grade than the common 35 percent solution, colorless and fully miscible with water, and it breaks down into water and oxygen alone.

It is used where a strong oxidizer is called for: oxidation steps in chemical synthesis, bleaching of fibers and pulp, disinfection of tanks, lines and hard surfaces, etching and pickling of metals, and the preparation of pigments and other inorganic compounds. Solutions at this concentration are corrosive and reactive toward organic material.
