950ml Ethyl Acetate (99.5%)

Ethyl acetate is a colorless liquid with a fruity odor, supplied at laboratory grade in 950 ml bottles at 99.5 percent purity. It evaporates rapidly, dissolves a wide range of organic compounds, and is less toxic than many comparable solvents.

In the laboratory it is a routine solvent for organic synthesis, liquid-liquid extraction, and column and thin-layer chromatography. Industrially it is used as a fast-evaporating carrier in paints, coatings, lacquers, printing inks and adhesives, in nail care products, and in flavor extraction and decaffeination work where a suitable grade is specified.
