Realgar Ruby Sulfur Powder Ultrafine 99+% Purity Lab Grade

Realgar, also sold as ruby sulfur, is an arsenic sulfide mineral supplied as an ultrafine lab grade powder at 99+% purity. It is a deep red to orange solid, toxic, and handled as a hazardous material.

Realgar has a long history as a red artist pigment and is used as a reference and specimen material in mineralogy, metallurgy and analytical chemistry. In pyrotechnics it is one of the traditional ingredients used for white and blue-white effects. It also serves as an arsenic sulfide source in glass and semiconductor research.
