This black powder kit supplies the raw components and hardware for producing five pounds of black powder, the traditional propellant and pyrotechnic composition. It is intended for people already familiar with black powder work, such as muzzleloading shooters, historical reenactors and licensed pyrotechnicians.

Black powder itself is used as a propellant in muzzleloading firearms and cannon, as a lift and burst charge in display fireworks, and in time fuse and igniter applications. Components are supplied separately and should be handled under the manufacturing, storage and transport rules that apply in your jurisdiction.
