Potassium Ferrocyanide Trihydrate, ACS, 99+% Purity Lab Grade

Potassium ferrocyanide trihydrate, also called yellow prussiate of potash, is supplied as yellow crystals at ACS grade, 99 percent purity or better, in a 30 gram size. It is a standard laboratory reagent for iron determination and precipitation reactions and the classical precursor to Prussian blue pigment.

In darkroom work it appears in toning and intensification formulas and in historical print processes. Industrially it is used as an anticaking agent in salt production, as a fining agent in winemaking, in electroplating baths, and as a mordant in textile dyeing. It is a toxic material.
