1lb Molecular Sieves (1/16”)

Molecular sieves supplied as one pound of 1/16 inch extruded pellets. These are synthetic zeolite adsorbents with a uniform pore structure that takes up water and other small molecules while excluding larger ones, reaching a lower residual moisture level than silica gel.

They are used to dry solvents and reagents, to protect moisture-sensitive chemicals in storage, to dry compressed air and gas streams, and as a desiccant in packaging and instrument enclosures. The pellets can be regenerated by heating and returned to service, and they hold up under repeated temperature and pressure cycling.
