Cobalt Sulfate 99+% Purity Lab Grade

Cobalt sulfate is a red to pink crystalline salt supplied at 99+% purity, reagent grade, in a one-pound container. It is water soluble and is the usual soluble cobalt source where a nitrate or carbonate is not wanted.

Ceramicists use it as a colorant in glazes and underglazes, where cobalt produces blue at low addition rates. It is also used in electroplating baths for cobalt and cobalt alloy deposits, as a drier in paints and varnishes, as a trace mineral in animal feed and fertilizer, and as a precursor in battery cathode and catalyst chemistry.
