Vanadium Pentoxide 99% Purity Lab Grade

Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) is an orange to rust-colored oxide supplied as a lab grade powder at 99% purity. It is the most common commercial vanadium compound and acts as an oxidizing agent at elevated temperature.

Its main use is catalytic, particularly in the contact process for sulfuric acid and in selective oxidation reactions in organic synthesis. It is also used as a colorant in ceramic glazes and glass, as a feedstock for vanadium metal and ferrovanadium alloys, and as the starting material for electrolyte in vanadium redox flow batteries.
