Glacial Acetic Acid Lab Grade

Glacial acetic acid is the undiluted form of acetic acid, C₂H₄O₂, supplied at 99%+ purity, lab grade, in pint bottles. It is a clear colorless liquid with a sharp odor that freezes to a solid slightly below room temperature.

It is used as a solvent and reagent in organic synthesis, as the acid for darkroom stop baths and other photographic solutions, and in the manufacture of acetates, esters, synthetic fibers and food-grade preparations. At this concentration it is corrosive to skin, eyes and airways; work with ventilation and appropriate protection.
