Zinc Metal Powder Zn 99.97% Zinc Dust 325 Mesh

Zinc metal powder, also sold as zinc dust, is supplied at 99.97% purity and 325 mesh. The fine particle size gives high surface area and greater reactivity and coverage than granular or cast zinc.

It is used as the pigment in zinc-rich primers and cold galvanizing coatings for corrosion protection, as an anode material in battery manufacture, and as a reducing and cementation agent in chemical processing and metal refining. Zinc powder is also used in rubber and plastics compounding and as a metal fuel in pyrotechnic compositions.
