Sulfur Powder Ultrafine 99+% Purity Lab Grade

Sulfur powder, the element long known as brimstone, is supplied here as an ultrafine lab grade yellow powder at 99+% purity in a one pound quantity. The fine particle size gives a high surface area and even dispersion in dry mixes.

It is used as a fuel component in pyrotechnic compositions, in rubber vulcanization, and as a reagent in sulfide and sulfuric acid chemistry. In horticulture it serves as a soil acidifier for acid-loving plants and as a contact fungicide for powdery mildew. Fine sulfur dust is combustible and should be kept clear of ignition sources.
