Sodium Metaborate NaBO₂ 99%+ Purity Lab Grade

Sodium metaborate (NaBO2) is a white, water-soluble borate salt supplied as a lab grade powder at 99%+ purity. Its solutions are alkaline, and it is a stable and convenient soluble source of boron.

It is used as a boron source in fertilizers and micronutrient blends, as an alkaline builder and buffer in cleaning products and photographic developers, and as a component of adhesives, textile treatments and corrosion inhibiting formulations. In glass and ceramics it supplies boron oxide to frits and glazes, and it appears in hydrogen storage work as the byproduct of borohydride chemistry.
