Aluminum Powder German Dark Pyro (5413H Super)

German dark pyro aluminum powder (5413H Super), also known as German blackhead, is an ultrafine dark flake aluminum with particle sizes running from about 200 mesh down to roughly 2 to 5 microns. The angular flake shape and high surface area make it more reactive than atomized or bright grades.

It is the reference metallic fuel for demanding pyrotechnic work, used in flash and salute compositions, in flitter, glitter and firefly star effects, and in thermite mixtures. Keep it sealed and dry and well away from oxidizers and ignition sources.
