Nickel Carbonate NiCO3 99+% Purity Lab Grade

Nickel carbonate, NiCO3, lab grade at 99+ percent purity, is a light green powder and a convenient nickel source that dissolves in acid to give the corresponding nickel salt without introducing chloride or sulfate.

Platers use it to replenish nickel content and raise pH in plating baths. Ceramicists use it as a glaze colorant, where it yields gray, brown and green tones depending on the base glaze and firing atmosphere. It also appears in catalyst preparation, nickel battery materials and general inorganic synthesis. Nickel compounds are toxic and skin sensitizing, so dust and contact should be avoided.
