Lampblack Pure Carbon Powder Ultrafine

Lampblack is an ultrafine carbon powder formed by the incomplete combustion of oils and other carbon-rich feedstocks. Its particle size is far finer than milled charcoal and its carbon content is high, which gives it strong tinting strength and a deep neutral black.

It is used as a pigment in inks, paints, stains, coatings and concrete color, as a black colorant in artists' materials, and as a carbon fuel in pyrotechnic compositions, where the fine particle size makes it fast reacting. The powder is light and easily airborne, so it is handled with dust control.
