Aluminum Flake "Firefly" K-102 99%+ Purity

Aluminum flake "Firefly" K-102 is a milled aluminum flake at 99%+ purity, supplied in one-pound packages. The flake form and fine particle size disperse readily in solvent and water-based mediums, which is why this grade turns up in industrial and automotive coatings, metallic paints, cosmetic formulations and craft and resin work.

In pyrotechnics it serves as a metallic fuel, contributing bright sparks and metallic effects to compositions. Store it sealed and dry; flake aluminum takes up moisture and should be kept away from acids, alkalis and ignition sources.
