Atomized Spherical Aluminum Powder -600 Mesh

Atomized spherical aluminum powder at -600 mesh, an airfloat-fine silvery-gray grade supplied in a 1 lb quantity. Gas atomization gives near-spherical particles with a tight size distribution and few satellites, so the powder flows and packs consistently despite the very small particle size.

The high surface area makes it considerably more reactive than coarser aluminum. It is used in powder metallurgy and metal injection molding, thermal and cold spray coatings, conductive pastes and inks, and as a fuel in pyrotechnic compositions.
