Zinc Oxide Powder USP Pharmaceutical Grade 99+% Purity

Zinc oxide is a finely milled white, odorless powder supplied to USP pharmaceutical grade at 99+% purity. It is insoluble in water, chemically stable, non-comedogenic, and absorbs across both the UVA and UVB range, which is the basis of most of its topical use.

It is used as the active ingredient in mineral sunscreens, barrier creams and diaper ointments, as a mild astringent and antimicrobial in topical preparations, and as a pigment and opacifier in cosmetics. The same material is used as a flux in ceramic glazes and as an activator in rubber compounding.
