Polyvinyl Butyral Resin Powder Binder Ultrafine 99+% Purity

Polyvinyl butyral, or PVB, is a thermoplastic resin supplied as an ultrafine powder at 99+% purity. It dissolves in alcohols and several other organic solvents, forms tough, clear, flexible films with good UV resistance, and adheres well to glass, metal and ceramic substrates.

PVB is used as a binder in ceramic and metal powder tape casting, in screen printing inks, wash primers, wood coatings and laminates, and as the interlayer in laminated safety glass. In pyrotechnics it is used as a binder and fuel component in compositions.
