Custom & Bulk Orders
Need a size that is not listed, or more than the shelf holds? Tell us the material and the quantity and we will source, repack and quote it for you. Most custom orders are packed and out the door within a week.
Custom pack sizes
The catalog lists the sizes that move fastest, not the only sizes we can supply. If you want ten pounds of something listed in one-pound jars, or four ounces of something listed by the pound, ask. We repack by hand from the same lot, so the assay on your label matches the assay on the jar it came from.
We can pack into jars, pails, or into your own containers if you send them — useful if you are refilling something you already have.
Sourcing what is not in the catalog
If you need a material we do not stock, send the name, the CAS number if you have it, the grade you need and the quantity. We will tell you honestly whether we can get it, roughly what it will cost, and how long it will take. Some things we cannot supply at all, and we would rather say so than string you along.
Repeat orders for clubs, schools and shops
Pyrotechnic clubs, ceramics studios, school and college labs, plating shops and makerspaces buy the same short list on a cycle. Send us that list and we will quote it as a standing order, hold stock against it where it makes sense, and flag it when something is running short.
Quantity pricing improves as volume rises. As a guide, on a typical one-pound item:
- 1–4 units — list price
- 5–9 units — around 7.5% off
- 10–24 units — around 15% off
- 25 units and above — around 24% off
Those figures are indicative only. Real quantity pricing depends on the material and is quoted per order.
What we need from you
The material, the grade if it matters, the quantity, and when you need it. If it is a repeat order, tell us how often. Everything ships from the USA, and ORM-D and hazmat items ship ground only.
